Biography

Ezra Palmer-Persen has been passionate about brass playing for over 50 years.  He has worked with such artists as Barbara McNair, The Whispers  Barbara Lewis, and Gladys Knight and the Pips. He earned a BA in Music from San Francisco State University in 1973 and has been teaching brass continuously since 1988.  In 1993, Ezra was certified as a Claude Gordon Brass instructor for all of the “cupped” brass.  This includes the Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Euphonium, and Tuba.

His performance, teaching expertise, and success in overcoming injuries from playing have provided him with a unique opportunity to save you time.  If that’s of interest, feel free to email or call!
