Cello, Beginning Violin & Viola Lessons with Victoria Ellsworth
Phone: (301) 461-7712
Victoria has been teaching cello students, beginning violin and viola students for 35 years.
She loves working with children, teenagers, and adults.
As a classically trained and accredited Suzuki cello teacher, Victoria fills her lessons with joy. When she was a young student, she struggled with focusing and learning disabilities. She had to teach herself to learn in a different way. Drawing on that experience Victoria works to help every student learn. She will pull from a variety of methods to help each pupil. Some of her best training has come from raising 4 wonderful children. All 4 took music lessons as they were growing up.
Victoria’s youngest student was a sharp little 4-year old. Her oldest (and wisest achiever) was a 94-year old Welsh Presbyterian minister; they often shared lunch after lessons and became good friends.
Currently, Victoria teaches at her home in Tiburon, in a spacious room with a lovely view of Richardson Bay. Her sweet dogs often attend lessons and their calm spirits bring peace. She is willing to travel and can also setup lesson times at The Magic Flute in Terra Linda. Please inquire for availability.
